Terms of Service

Last Updated:May 2, 2026

These terms define the permitted use of PaperFlip Translate, the responsibilities tied to authenticated access, and the operational limits of the document translation workflow.

Service scope

PaperFlip Translate provides authenticated PDF translation workflows. Public pages remain open, while workspace, history, and settings require both successful Firebase authentication and a valid backend session exchange.

Product capabilities, job limits, supported languages, and download behavior may evolve as the service changes. Continued use means you accept the current product behavior presented in the application.

Account and access responsibilities

You are responsible for the Firebase account and sign-in method used to access the service. You must keep your credentials secure and ensure that the account information used for authentication is accurate and authorized.

If email verification is required by the service, protected access may be denied until verification is complete.

Acceptable use

You may upload and translate only documents you are authorized to process. You may not use the service to violate privacy, intellectual property, export controls, sanctions, or any applicable law.

  • Do not upload malware, malicious payloads, or files intended to disrupt the service.
  • Do not attempt to bypass quotas, access control, job ownership checks, or signed URL protections.

Availability and operational limits

The service is provided on an evolving basis. Translation speed, availability, and completion time may vary based on document size, provider health, storage delivery, or maintenance events.

We may suspend, rate-limit, or reject requests that exceed technical limits or create risk for the platform.

Translation outputs and user review

Machine-generated translations can contain errors, omissions, or formatting drift. You remain responsible for reviewing translated outputs before relying on them for legal, contractual, regulatory, financial, or other high-stakes use.

Suspension, termination, and enforcement

Access may be suspended or terminated if these terms are violated, if account behavior creates operational risk, or if the service must be restricted for security, legal, or infrastructure reasons.

Questions about enforcement, service scope, or support follow-up can be directed through the contact information listed on the Contact page.
